The Landscape: 2 Perspectives

  • Santa Fe Painting Workshops 5041 Agua Fria Park Road Santa Fe, NM, 87507 United States (map)

The landscape is one of the most painted subjects and for good reason: we are immersed in it everyday as humans. In this intensive, you will spend the first day learning how to paint the landscape realistically with Ellen Sklar-Abbott, and on the second you will work with abstract painter Andrea Cermanski. Both of these master painters use the landscape as inspiration in their artwork, and you will benefit from learning two very different approaches on the same subject that will ultimately expand your knowledge base, diversify your style, and bring more ease to your process of creating a landscape. This workshop is suitable for all levels, and the class can be customized if students wish.

  • The workshop will take place both days from 10:00 am-4:00 pm

  • All supplies included (3 stretched canvases, paint, brushes, palette knives, aprons, etc.)

  • 2-person minimum/4-person maximum

  • $495/person (including tax)
